  A friend of mine had a terrible experience with a nurse while she was on the palliative program with spectrum Mississauga office. A mistake made by untrained nurse ( a trained nurse would not have done what this nurse done) caused my friend to be hospitalized and spend her last days at a hospital instead of passing in her home or a hospice. Family received a call the program manager and director Heather apologizing and giving a lame excuse that they are working on improving standards and training for nurses and other field staff - why weren’t your staff trained properly from the beginning since this is a palliative program. I guess to them, my friend was just a number, to me - she was my life long friend. May you rest in peace J.

  This place is horrible. Customer service sucks. These people are not trained properly. Incompetent people work here. Cannot coordinate with the suppliers properly. Instead of taking accountability for their mistakes and instead of helping the cancer patient. They are blaming others for incompetence. No wonder the 2.6 rating at this centre. FyI Anushka is the person managing this. Get your people trained properly with better communication skills. Problem solving skills, and professionalism. Definitely on the spectrum alright.

  Never in my life have I ever felt more disposable than when I worked for spectrum peel branch. The main reason why I resigned was because I was experienced workplace harassment and abuse from the coordination team and my manager st the time Yna ignored me when I brought it to her attention - she would read my texts about what happened but did not acknowledge it, she abandoned me and failed to protect her employees and really let me down. The coordination team is lazy (pm, pm also never answer the phone), condescending, manipulative, dishonest and will very much so try to take advantage of you as they tried with me numerous times. HR also did nothing about this even though I informed the HR manager Hadia. Another major issue I had working here was they did not honour the original scheduling agreement and the day my probation was over, I submitted my resignation however the managers at the time guy and Kyle seemed to not care because nothing changed even though I told them it was too much working 6, 12 hour shifts on my second week rotation - I told them during that meeting if nothing changed I would start booking off regularly because I was burning out - but they didn't care. Another thing I brought up was the original agreement of doing 3 or 4 visits a day max while in call for transports but they would expect me to do like 6-7-8 visits a day plus transport which was not the original agreement. Over the course of 10 months working for this company, my emotional and mental health got so bad , I would sometimes actually consider hurting myself just to escape this nightmare. I spoke with my family doctor twice about this and he offered me anti depressants and anti anxiety but I refused because those types of medications have severely dangerous long term effects on the body so instead I left the abusive environment I was suffering in at soectrum healthcare. After I experienced the final 2 straws workplace harassment and abuse in October and November of 2025, I left this nightmare. Two months after I resigned, a representative from spectrum called me to tell me that my online training was overdue - zero internal communication. Even still to this day I am afraid to go back to work because I feel like the emotional and mental torture I went through with this company has scarred me mentally for life. I share my story for educational purposes with only facts because if I was treated this way then there are definitely others who have experienced the same.
