My mother was in there in 2019. She had dementia, and it caused outbursts. None violent, but derogatory. The staff couldn't have been more understanding. Very friendly. My mom had a fake dog, but because of her condition, to her it was real. The physio staff got together and made a basket, and sewed a quilt just to keep her baby warm. The kindness is second to know body. It's been a long time coming, but me and my family thank everyone who had a hand in what was my mother's final few months.

Terrible service nurses have no patience they talk back to patients and try to boss family around. They try to convince others to do their jobs for them so they don’t have to do anything!

St. Joes continuing care/clarion motel site. Terrible place, worse than York extendicare. It’s a dumping ground for the hospital. Always short staffed, I can’t understand how this facility stays open. No activities for the residents . If you are ambulatory, or you smoke, you can go outside to the parking lot, if not you are a prisoner in your room. Trying like hell to get my Dad out of there. Not worth the star I gave it, but you can’t post a review without it.
