Lovely and welcoming staff at the Wellesley. Great tour, the residence is clean and bright. Will definitely consider living here.

Wellesley is bright with good size suit. It is conveniently located near downtown but in a quieter part. The staff are helpful and friendly. Food quality is exceptional.

My mom moved into the Wellesley a little while ago and loves it! We looked a a number of independent living residences in Victoria and she picked the Wellesley for a few reasons: 1) the size of the apartments is MUCH bigger than the newer residences being built in Victoria, like 30-40% larger. 2) the food is non-greasy and there’s plenty of protein choices. While the food on the menu at a number of places we looked at looked pretty fancy, when you tried it it’s extremely rich, which would be hard to eat day after day. The Wellesley’s food is flavourful but not too greasy or rich to have it every day. 3) exercise options: the programs are more suitable for seniors at her level, more band work etc. this is one of her favorite parts. 4) garden space: the team arranged for her to have her own garden space on the roof and it’s nicely set up for her, she’s excited to use it this summer. The staff have been amazing, nothing but good things to say there! Highly recommend the Wellesley for seniors who are not quite ready for assisted living but need attentive staff, good food and fitness programs.
