Walford Hillside Park

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hillside Park Retirement Residence in Elliot Lake. My father, called Hillside Park home for approximately five years, and during that time, Alberta and her incredible staff provided exceptional care, kindness, and compassion. Living in the United States, our family relied heavily on the staff to look after Dad. Their communication, attention to detail, and genuine concern for his well-being gave us tremendous peace of mind. From ensuring he received his medications and enjoyed his meals to keeping us informed of any health concerns, their dedication was outstanding. When Dad became seriously ill, the compassion, dignity, and respect shown to him were truly remarkable. One gesture I will never forget was when Dad passed away. Knowing he always kept a handkerchief with him, a staff member thoughtfully placed one in his hand before he was taken away. That simple act spoke volumes about how deeply they cared. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can give Hillside Park is that toward the end of his life, when Dad said he wanted to go home, **he meant Hillside Park.** Alberta and her entire team didn't just provide Dad with a place to live; they gave him a home. I wholeheartedly recommend Hillside Park to any family looking for exceptional care for a loved one. **Thank you, Alberta and the entire staff. Our family will be forever grateful.**
