I worked with Steve remotely and it was so, so helpful! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2021 and have had serious health issues every time I tried to use a CPAP machine. I’ve been working on other solutions and it seemed like elevating my head to help with GERD might have fixed my sleep apnea. I was really struggling to test it using regular home sleep studies (I would pull them off in my sleep every time) and I gave up on ever confirming my numbers had improved. I decided to talk to Steve and did a different type of sleep study with him and it worked out amazingly! He was so helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I didn’t feel like I was being sold on a product it just felt like he genuinely wanted me to solve my sleep problems. I can’t recommend him enough!

The absolute highest recommendation I can give. Steve Archer has been my Respiratory Therapist for eight years, and he is simply the best in the field. First at Clinical Sleep Solutions and now at his own practice, Archer Sleep Care, he has consistently provided exceptional, personalized care throughout. With 35 years as a Respiratory Therapist, split between hospital acute care and sleep medicine, Steve brings a depth of knowledge that’s genuinely rare. He doesn’t just hand you a machine. He understands the physiology, troubleshoots intelligently, and takes the time to explain what’s actually going on. What sets him apart is the access. He’s responsive, available, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing. He launched Archer Sleep Care because he believes sleep care should be personal, not corporate. That philosophy shows in every interaction. If you’re looking for someone who knows this field inside out, Steve is the person to call.

After 25 years of searching, I finally have found the most knowledge, experience sleep care expert in the business. He just knows what to do in difficult situations. This comes from years of experience and continued research into the latest developments. He focuses on the patient, not trying to sell equipment. He seems directly linked to the sleep physicians of the lower mainland, as well as across Canada. Well worthwhile to have one on one with such an experienced clinician. Disclaimer: I have a very complex sleep apnea, so appreciate the superior care. Dr. Paul Wright Emeritus UBC
