Dr.Ubhi and Sydnie were amazing! I was referred to vision therapy due to a concussion from a motor vehicle accident and from the very first session I felt that I was listened to and supported with compassion after a long and frustrating recovery. Both Dr.Ubhi and Sydnie are very passionate and attentive while still making you feel comfortable in your recovery and I genuinely looked forward to my appointments with Sydnie. I would highly recommend this clinic!

I have spent more than a decade of my life dealing with persistent, unexplained health issues and countless specialist appointments with little to no answers. After “hitting a wall”, I just kinda accepted my fate before stumbling upon some info online pertaining to certain vision issues that cause a lot of the same symptoms I have been experiencing. So I did a bit of research to find someone in the Edmonton area that could possibly help me. Dr Ubhi was ONLY optometrist I could find in Edmonton that specialized in binocular vision issues that didn’t require me to go obtain a referral for, so I booked with her ASAP and I am so insanely happy I did. Anyone who has navigated the healthcare system with an "invisible" illness or disease knows how exhausting and demoralizing it can be to not be taken seriously / feel heard. That had been my reality for years, and it had unfortunately left me with real anxiety around going to any type of medical appointments. However- when Dr Ubhi assessed me, she made me feel incredibly validated in how I was feeling, and it turned out that I did in fact have convergence issues could be corrected through visual training. Since then, I've been coming in regularly for vision therapy, and I've had the absolute pleasure of working closely with both Dr. Ubhi and Sydnie throughout my treatment. They are both incredibly kind and personable, and I genuinely have fun during my appointments. My symptoms have already improved drastically and my quality of life is so much better, so I can't recommend going here enough. It's actually a little bittersweet knowing my time with them is nearly over. 💜

I honestly don’t even know where to start because my experience with Dr. Ubhi at Beyond Vision Therapy meant so much to me. From the very first appointment, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. She has such a warm, calming presence, and you can tell right away that she truly loves what she does and cares deeply about her patients. After just one session, I noticed a huge difference, and I remember leaving that appointment feeling hopeful in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. Over time, going to my appointments became something I actually looked forward to. I was always excited to go, and she was always just as excited to see me. It never felt like “just another appointment.” It felt personal, encouraging, and safe. When my treatment was over, I was genuinely sad. I didn’t expect that at all, but I realized it was because of the connection and trust she built with me throughout the process. Dr. Ubhi didn’t just help me through vision therapy, she made a real impact on my life, my confidence, and how I move through my day. That’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time. I also have to mention Sydnie at the front desk, who was amazing as well. She was always so accommodating, kind, and patient, and made everything so easy from scheduling to check-ins. Walking into the clinic always felt welcoming because of her. Beyond Vision Therapy is truly special because of the people there. I’m so grateful for this experience and for the care I received. I would recommend Dr. Ubhi and this clinic to anyone without hesitation.
