Dr Adna misdiagnosed my condition. She insisted I had toe fungus. I would be coming in every month and a half for her to clean it up, while I was treating it at home with medication. This went on for about a year. The last time I went in, Nov / 25, it looked as if it was just about healed. That night, I noticed one of my big toenails was looking red. A week later the other big toenail was bruised, again! I was so upset. I finally got a second opinion, as well as sending samples of my nails to the lab for analysis. It turns out it wasn't fungus at all but nail psoriasis. Dr Adna is nice, and I know sometimes mistakes are made, but I believe her arrogance prevented her from investigating other possibilites. I actually believe she might have contributed to my condition by the way she was treating my toenails. Not sure if it was for the $$$, luckily I have insurance, but I feel bad for those who don't and may have had a similar experience. I know I asked her at least twice if it was fungus and she said both times that indeed it was. Next time I will go with my gut and get that second opinion right away...

I’m extremely frustrated with my experience at this clinic. During my initial appointment, Dr. Adna assessed my foot and told me I needed both an X-ray and an ultrasound before proceeding with treatment. I followed those instructions, went through my family doctor, completed all the required tests, and returned for my follow-up fully expecting to move forward with the treatment we had discussed. I paid $100 for that initial visit. When I arrived for my follow-up, I had not been informed in advance that Dr. Adna was on maternity leave. Instead, I was seen by another provider who was unsure of what to do and had to call her for direction. After all of that, I was simply told I would be referred to a clinic in Oakville instead. This was incredibly frustrating. I took time out of my day, completed all the requested tests, and showed up expecting care, only to be turned away with a referral that could have been sent via email without requiring me to come in at all. They made me waste my time and were careless with my health. It is very important to inform patients ahead of time if their follow-up will be with a different provider, especially when the original doctor is on leave and a treatment has already been discussed. This lack of communication and continuity made the experience even more disappointing. Staff need to work on their customer service. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

4.5 months ago, Dr. Adna Egal performed a partial nail avulsion with phenol on me due to an ingrown toenail. At the time of the procedure, the condition was not severe. A few weeks after the surgery, I began to experience pain in the nail root area and noticed that the nail was starting to grow back from the root. I decided to give the doctor a second chance and hoped the situation could be corrected. The doctor trimmed part of the nail at the root area. When I asked whether the procedure might have been unsuccessful and whether the nail was growing back, I was told that everything was fine and that it did not appear to be regrowth. Unfortunately, several months after the surgery, the nail continues to grow back and curl to the side. I did not have this problem before the procedure. The current condition of my nail is significantly worse than it was prior to the surgery.
