My husband saw Sara for numbness and pain in his leg. We booked an “assessment/TREATMENT” appointment for the same day as the issue was getting worse and we didn’t want to wait to see the other physiotherapists we’ve seen before who weren’t available same day. Firstly, the building is not accessible at all. He had been avoiding stairs for the last couple of days to not put pressure on his leg and then when we got to the clinic, we saw that the only way to access it was a steep set of stairs, which is strange for a physio clinic. It’s also the first time either of us have ever experienced a physiotherapist who did not do any kind of therapeutic treatment in the initial appointment or otherwise. We specifically booked an appointment that said “treatment” in its title so he can get some professional relief for his discomfort, but no such thing was done. She spent the whole hour just talking and testing things without offering any therapeutic relief to his aching and numbness. She also couldn’t offer an explanation as to what the issue is - she just listed various things it could be. At the end, she wanted to set up another costly appointment nearly a week later, saying she would finally offer some sort of therapeutic treatment in the next session. When I asked her how long said treatment would take, she said 10 minutes, so it was clearly something she could have done in this session if she cared to offer some discomfort relief to my husband that day. A total waste of money as we neither got pain relief nor clarity on the underlying cause of his issues.

I had a wonderful time with Natalia Kim! It was my first time going to a massage and she made me feel very welcome. She tackled the spots I asked her around my shoulders, and was very professional and educational when I asked further questions.

Went in for my first session with Marylene Henry at For Health's Sake and honestly wasn't expecting to feel a difference this fast. I've been dealing with a lot of rib and hip/glute tightness lately from ab work and swimming, plus some old scar tissue on my left side that's been chronically tight. The initial session was 60 minutes and very hands-on , she got into the rib area and did some visceral work I hadn't experienced before. The biggest thing I noticed right after was that I could just breathe easier. Like my diaphragm actually released. Already booked my second session. My goal is to get back to my routine without having to keep taking breaks for soreness and after one visit I'm optimistic this is the right approach to get there.
