I was advised over the phone as a bc resident I would have to go to alberta for bunion surgery. Wow. Reason being their BC / White Rock podiatrists were not qualified in to do surgery in BC. Wow again.

Be aware of hidden costs, long wait times, no accountability for low quality orthotics that they charge a fortune for...and rude staff (Debbie in my case). After seen in June 17th, and was advised that I will receive my orthotics in 4 to 6 weeks, and that doctor will check the fitting and do a consultation at the time of picking up. First, I just received them in September instead of July, that too after following up several times !! Second, no doctor checked the fitting or did any consultation whatsoever at the time of pick up. I still chose to empathize with them and rather be patient. At the time of pick up I was also advised to come back if there's any problem with the orthotics, and it'll be addressed to at no charge. Somehow the pain was even worse after wearing the orthotics, but I still gave them a fair chance, for almost 3 weeks, before consulting the doctor... immediately after which I was advised to pay $85 !? For a faulty orthotic ? Debbie, some call center receptionist based in Kelowna just didn't understand the idea of accountability and even went to the extent of stating that I'm not welcome back, and that it's my problem if my orthotics were faulty and didn't work for me. For real ? So this doesn't keep on happening to others, I've already lodged a complaint with Better Business Bureau and will also take it further under consumer rights act BC, which entitles me to also return these defective orthotics. Meanwhile, avoid this business with unacceptable business practices. Even worse that such a business happens to be a part of healthcare system.
