I was very disappointed with my first physiotherapy appointment. I paid $98 for an initial assessment. As soon as I entered the treatment room, I was told there wasn’t enough time because I had been filling out paperwork. It felt like the time I spent completing the forms was counted as part of my appointment. I had listed neck pain, back pain, and heel pain on my intake form. The physiotherapist asked which area I wanted to focus on first, so I chose my heel. Only my heel was briefly examined. I was shown two basic exercises, given a handout with a few home exercises, and told to do them at home. After I got home, I searched Google and found the same basic exercises that were printed on the handout I received. My neck and back were not assessed during the appointment, and I did not receive any hands-on treatment or a clear treatment plan. I expected a much more thorough assessment for the $98 I paid, and unfortunately, I do not feel that the service I received was worth the cost.

I saw Paula Anderson for pelvic floor physiotherapy...she was great...she provided me with tons of resources for self-care going forward including some that incorporated the mind-body connection. My hip pain and feeling of pelvic misalignment is improved and i have tons of resources/programs to do myself at home to keep my pelvic floor more relaxed!

I had a great experience at Nahid Acupuncture. I started treatments for tendon pain in my hand, and I’m truly happy with the results. Nahid is very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The clinic is always calm, clean, and relaxing. She creates such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Nahid Acupuncture.
