Headline: Unprofessional service, last-minute cancellation, and zero regard for clients' time I booked a business consultation with Marigold Law over a week in advance. Just 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time today, I received a call informing me it was canceled due to a "family emergency." While life happens, cancelling a business consultation with 20 minutes' notice—after I had already rearranged my schedule and commuted all the way from Sidney—is completely unacceptable for a professional firm. Whether it was genuinely an emergency or simply poor scheduling and overbooking, the lack of professionalism and courtesy was striking. Had I canceled an appointment on 20 minutes' notice, I have no doubt I would have been charged a late cancellation fee. Yet, after wasting my time and travel, there was no offer of compensation or accommodations made toward rebooking. A firm that values its own time far more than its clients' time is not one I can trust for business legal matters. Highly disappointing.
