I’m retired and have always managed my own investments, but after turning 70 I wanted a professional assessment of our long term needs and tax efficient ways to transition the excess assets to our children and grandchildren. I interviewed several planners and chose Moraine Wealth because they were one of the few fee only firms willing to build a full plan without expecting me to invest in their managed funds. Sean’s entire process was excellent. The tools were clear and thorough, and I now feel confident we have a plan that supports our family while minimizing taxes. Based on Sean’s guidance, I set up a holding company and a family trust using the advisors he recommended, all of whom have been outstanding.
