  Having both retired from the private sector, we wanted to get an update on our financial plan for the future. Ayana was very helpful in guiding us to understand our financial plan and provided us with simple, clear analysis and actions. She spent the time to answer our questions in a very client- centric way. Having worked with other planners we found Ayana’s style and analysis much more accessible and as a result, useful to us. We would recommend Ayana to anyone who wants to get a good grasp on their financial plan and strategies at any stage.

  Using the services of Ayana exceeded our expectations. Finally we’ve been able to have intelligent conversations about the path forward for our retirement. As small business owners we’ve struggled with Financial Planners that provided incomplete and not actionable plans. It was a relief to finally be able to get to a plan which is financially sound and we have confidence in! Ayana is astute, intelligent, and not tied to selling products.   My wife Nancy and I felt we were 3-4 years away from retirement and had received some advice from our stock broker firm but also followed the guidance to seek independent advice from someone who is not motivated by keeping your portfolio business. We are really glad we did as Ayana did a more though assessment and analysis of our situation than the bank. She recommended some immediate tax treatment advice (rrsp vs mortgage payment) that will save us a bundle on taxes and help us retire a year or two earlier. Our working with Ayana was a very wise investment and we will work with her again as we get closer to retirement to refine our model. We highly recommend her advice.
