I been going to the foot clinic for a long time and won't go anywhere else. The staff and doctors are so nice and look after me. A special thank you to Amanda Cates for making my feet happy.

I recently visited this foot doctor, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a positive experience. I initially came in thinking I might have plantar fasciitis, but I was told I actually have heel spurs and a ganglion deformity. While the doctor used humor, it felt dismissive, especially when he seemed annoyed whenever I asked questions about my condition. What was most concerning was his glove hygiene. I observed that he wore the same pair of black gloves to touch my feet, his face, his pen, and the instruments he used. He also wiped dead skin off my feet, handled a sample of another patient’s orthotics (removing them from the bag to show me), and handed my file to the secretary without changing gloves. Even more concerning, he called the next patient and I wondered if there were the same pair. As someone in healthcare, I found this very unsanitary and unsettling. Additionally, he mentioned my “wart treatment” to the receptionist within earshot of another patient, which felt embarrassing and unprofessional. Even though I read the Google reviews before booking, it seems, looking back, that he may just have a good rapport with certain long term patients. Unfortunately, patient-centered care did not seem to be a priority in my visit. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with the quality of care, hygiene practices, and respect for patient privacy. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this practice.

My husband went for his first appt with Dr Bob at the Foot Clinic and we were immediately welcomed into his office by Dr Bob . He was a very nice man who explained what he was doing to my husband's feet and how to improve his foot condition at home. He also had a great bedside manner and him and my husband chatted about the railroad where both had worked at one time ..We have another appt in 8 wks and look fwd to it .Well worth the $70 as foot care is not covered by OHIP
