For the last 8 months Sam has been a great help in identifying my particular issues. His direct, goal oriented methods allowed us to work through my initial perceptions and really gain an understanding as to the true origins of my mental health struggles. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking to start, or continue, their journey to mental health recovery.

I’ve been seeing Sam regularly for about 4 months and really appreciate his inquisitive and supportive approach to counselling. Sam has helped me feel more relaxed with myself and during our sessions would help to identify meaningful, attainable goals between sessions to support my personal growth. I appreciate that he has focused on my initial goals to ensure I am addressing the issues I sought out too, while checking in to ensure my intentions are still aligned with what I need I. I’ve found Sam welcoming, open and supportive of what I need and would recommend him to others seeking advancement in themselves.

I have worked with Sam for about 10 months and honestly can't say enough good things. He is thoughtful, pragmatic, compassionate, and goal-oriented, everything you want in a therapist. With Sam's support I've achieved all of the goals I set for myself, and although we are all works in progress, I am moving through the world with much more lightness and ease. I would not hesitate to seek out Sam's support again, and would wholeheartedly recommend him to friends or family (having done so already). If you are looking for an approach to therapy that extends beyond "traditional" talk therapy to modern somatic/experiential modalities like IFS, go see Sam!
