  Finding a reliable instrument reprocessing service was important to me as a foot care nurse, and I'm so glad I found Tired Sole. I recently had my first load of instruments reprocessed, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Angela was warm, welcoming, and highly professional. She made the process seamless and gave me confidence in the quality of their service and their commitment to high standards. It's reassuring to know my instruments are in such capable hands.   I really wanted to like this place because the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, the actual foot care service was extremely disappointing. My mom and I booked appointments at Tired Soles with the understanding that this was a teaching clinic where nurses are gaining experience in advanced foot care. Because of that, we weren’t expecting a spa pedicure, but we were expecting a thorough assessment and educational experience. We expected our feet to be soaked, examined, and assessed, with the nurse asking about our concerns and explaining what they were seeing and doing throughout the appointment. Instead, the service was incredibly brief. I explained that my main concerns were a painful corn and toenail fungus. The nurse removed the corn, trimmed my big toenails, and lightly buffed them with an e-file. That was essentially the entire appointment. There was no explanation of the condition of my toenail fungus, whether it appeared to be improving or worsening, what treatments I should be using at home, or what to expect moving forward. My mom had a very similar experience. We both left with nails that were only partially trimmed and lightly buffed. They were still thick, uncomfortable, and painful. We honestly couldn’t see any meaningful improvement. The biggest disappointment was the value. My mom paid $120 for the two of us, and we both walked away wondering what we had actually paid for. We could have trimmed our nails at home and achieved a very similar result. To be clear, this review is not a criticism of the staff or the nurse. Everyone we encountered was friendly, polite, and welcoming. Our disappointment is with the service itself and what is provided for the price. If this is meant to be an advanced foot care clinic, there needs to be much more assessment, education, communication, and actual treatment. Based on our experience, we simply don’t feel the service was worth it.
