  Paul and Mike did a great job this week. The move ended up taking longer than expected (I’m not a great estimator of how much stuff I have!) but the crew took it in stride and got the job done with no complaints! Thanks guys!!

  This company should rebrand has “zero men” because that might be the number to show up on moving day, as it was when me and my partner used Two Small Men in April 2026. Let me first say I don’t do reviews often (this might be my first actually). For example if I have a mediocre meal and service at a restaurant I don’t just willy nilly jump on the internet and blast them, understanding that this might not be representative of what the place is always like. And if I really don’t like a place or service, I just don’t use them again and leave it at that. But the reliability of your moving company to me is a different thing. If this review can help one person or family avoid the stress me and my partner dealt with, it will be worth it. We were booked with Two Small Men in Victoria BC April 2026 for a move within the city. We booked well in advance, paid a despot and arranged for and paid for city parking for their truck. On moving day approx 20 minutes before expected arrival, we received a call saying they were sorry but the truck had broken down. We had no way to validate this reason provided for the no show. My partner asked “how can you help us resolve our problem” stating that the apartment is packed, furniture wrapped and we have specific times we have to be out of the current place and into the new place. Note the other building was a new rental building so most new residents like us were moving in on very strict prearranged scheduled windows of time throughout the day and week, so simply coming any old day and time was not an option. The guy on the phone from Two Small Men to ‘help,’ after repeated pleas for assistance from my partner, eventually mentioned one other local moving company we could try and wished us luck. Luckily my partner found an alternative option on her own. And due to the help of BC Moving and Storage -their amazing moving crew (who were fantastic!!) - and the assistance of a couple of hardworking and flexible property managers we got ourselves sorted without any support from the company we had actually contracted and paid a deposit to. For the record Two Small Men did refund our deposit and at my partner’s request did a refund for the city parking we had reserved. We had booked with 2 Small Men having used them over a decade ago (which went fine) and we noticed their trucks about town over the years so we just sort of booked with what seemed like a familiar option and brand to us. That was a mistake. I recommend avoiding booking your move with Two Small Men with Big Hearts.

  The 3 men were very professional and did as I asked. They helped take my bed down and put it back up on the other end. I’ve been using 2 Burley men for all my moves and never been disappointed. They were very friendly made the move way less stressful. Thank you. They were amazing.
