About

Wellness Psychology is a Calgary-based mental health practice offering in-person and virtual counselling services with a focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. Registered psychologist Lindsey Stephenson specializes in evidence-based therapies including Internal Family Systems and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Senior Care Path Summary

Lindsey Stephenson works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and narcissistic abuse recovery. Her practice emphasizes understanding root causes of emotional patterns rather than surface-level coping. While her marketing language often focuses on high-achieving professionals and younger adults, the therapy modalities she offers, including trauma processing, depression and anxiety treatment, and grief support, are well-suited to older adults managing common mental health conditions.

The practice is located in downtown Calgary with free street parking and offers both in-person and virtual sessions across Alberta. Sessions are $235 for 60 minutes or $350 for 90 minutes, and services are covered by many employee benefit and insurance plans. However, the website does not specifically address geriatric specialization, experience working with seniors, mobility accessibility for older adults, or home visiting services. Seniors and their families should confirm whether Lindsey has specific experience and comfort working with older clients before booking.

I have known Lindsey for many years now. He is an inviting, caring guy, maybe a little groovy too, with deep spiritual roots. As you can see from the pics, he has a beautiful character home to welcome clients into -- so so much better than your typical sterile office space! If I were to translate a visit to see Lindsey into a symbolic picture, I would imagine myself entering a cool, quiet, marble entrance. A short distance from the entrance I would find Lindsey seated at his desk. Next to him would be a sky-lit atrium flooded with calming natural light, with a beautiful green tree rising up into the light. A safe place to unwind, heal, and grow. Rob
