I had a fantastic experience at Eye Hear You. I brought in a JINS frame from Japan with a very unusual and complicated shape. I had originally tried to have the progressive + transition lenses made at Costco, but they were unable to process the frame because their lab couldn’t handle its unique shape. And yes, Costco (Markham road & Kirkham Dr location) took the demo lens and did not return it back to me. 🤯 When I brought it to Eye Hear You, Bosco, the owner, took the time to personally examine the frame and explained how they could make it work. Instead of simply saying it was too difficult, they actually made a custom template mold specifically for the frame and carefully followed the process themselves. What really impressed me was the level of personal attention and care. Because this is a smaller, owner-operated business, Bosco was personally involved throughout the process and made sure everything was done properly. You can really feel the difference when someone takes pride in their work and treats your glasses as if they were their own. I also brought in my daughter’s glasses frame, which was purchased in Japan, for lenses to be fitted here. When we picked them up, they even thoughtfully returned the original demo lenses that came with the frame. It may seem like a small detail, but it shows a level of care and professionalism that you don’t always get from larger chain stores like Costco. The final result turned out very well, and I am very happy with the service. More importantly, I felt that my concerns were genuinely listened to and that they were willing to go the extra mile to solve a difficult problem. It was a great reminder that even though this is a small, independent optical shop, you often actually get better expertise, care, and personal service than you would at a large chain like Costco. Highly recommended! I would definitely come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've come here twice - once with a good friend and another time for myself and both times was glasses/eye related. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Bosco is not only professional but he is also extremely kind and helpful. And when it comes to places like this, choosing something as personal as eye glasses, people like him make the environment feel welcoming and comfortable. I am not a old client by any means but the professionalism and help I received made it seem like I had been going there for years! I will be back, indefinitely, and would recommend this store and their services to anyone. Thank you so much again Bosco!
