Senior Care Path Summary

Hear2Understand provides comprehensive audiology care suitable for older adults managing hearing loss, balance problems, and tinnitus, all common concerns in aging. They offer hearing evaluations and hearing aid sales and servicing, along with auditory rehabilitation including communication cafés and one-on-one sessions to help seniors adjust to hearing device use.

The clinic is particularly well-suited for older adults with vestibular issues (dizziness and balance concerns), which affect many seniors and can increase fall risk. Their assessment and management services address these age-related challenges directly. They also treat tinnitus and sound tolerance issues, which frequently affect older populations.

Importantly, Hear2Understand provides mobile audiology services including home visits and onsite occupational services, making care accessible for seniors with mobility limitations or those who prefer receiving care at home. No referral is required, and they accept coverage from multiple payers including Veteran's Affairs Canada, relevant for seniors, and Saskatchewan Supplemental Health Benefits.

Excellent team of professionals! I have tinnitus (both ears) and minor hearing loss, hearing aids have been extremely helpful especially in treating tinnitus. Recently, I had an issue with one of my hearing aids that was out-of-warranty. It was fixed within 24 hours and the staff were very accommodating in my time of need. I rarely leave reviews, but wanted to acknowledge how exceptional the service has been not only on this occasion, but also over the years. Hearing aids are not cheap, but the quality of life improvement is worth the cost. Remind younger people to turn down the music, tinnitus sucks!

Very unhelpful. Went in for a hearing test and trouble with newly developed tinnitus. They claim to do tinnitus retraining and the only advice I was given was to listen to white noise and a suggestion to purchase expensive maskers. I have emailed them and gotten no response.
