Took my mom here, and they took very good care of her. Tested her hearing and recommended a great pair of hearing aids. Staff was nice.

The company’s 1-800 line which helped find me this appointment was staffed by extremely helpful, cheerful people. My audiologist Yang was also extremely friendly and helpful, and did not oversell me on their services. Reception was a bit more of a road bump. If you find yourself feeling a bit unwelcome on arrival, hang in there!

My son had adenoids problem for more than a year, causing him to get sick frequently and snoring so bad at night with white CO2 bubbles appearing around his mouth, and having issues with his hearing, breathing, smelling, eating, and staying active - always having troubles and getting weaker day after day. We were referred to Dr Matyas and visited him few times over the course of 6 months. His treatment was just go on and off the nasal spray for few months - when off the spray, all troubles returned. Even though x-ray and hearing tests at CHEO confirmed he has large adenoids, Dr Matyas kept resisting to do surgery and remove them, God knows why! After all his trial and errors, when it was confirmed that my son’s issues were due to his adenoids, he literally didn’t care and suggested we just get an appointment with him after a year and just go on/off the spray! Unbelievable!! Our paediatrician was concerned with continuous use of this nasal spray due to its side effects, so referred us to a specialist in Cornwall. The specialist suggested to remove them right after the first visit as the condition was too obvious. After the operation, the doctor said this had been the largest adenoids he has ever seen and removed in his entire career! I still can’t believe how irresponsible Dr Matyas acted in my son’s case. So sad!!
