I've been the the clinic for a couple of things now. Had a hearing test done, very comprehensive and thorough. Took the time to go over everything with me afterwards and answered all my questions/clarifications. I also got a custom set of ear plugs from them. I use them for work and they are amazing! Takes everything from a roar down to a whisper. As someone exposed to harmful levels of noise everyday, having a team like the one at the Hearing Loss Clinic is an occupational necessity. This is the team I want to work with!

I was experiencing sudden-onset hearing loss in one ear as a result of shingles, and, to my surprise, my doctor referred me here rather than to an ENT specialist. It was very obvious from the moment I walked into this place that the people here really genuinely give a damn about patient health, AND customer satisfaction – which is rare in a healthcare setting. The onboarding forms were very straightforward; I was even offered a Nespresso while I filled them out! The audiologist I saw (Dr. Dous) was incredible. She immediately put me at ease and took the time to answer all of my questions — and then some. The equipment and testing environment were immaculate, modern, and not at all intimidating. The testing itself took only about 10 minutes, and afterward, Dr. Dous was able to walk me through everything she had discovered, right then and there! I honestly thought it would be the kind of thing where my results would be sent to my doctor, and I'd hear back in a week or two. She actually caught that the prednisone course prescribed for the nerve inflammation wasn't long enough and wrote me a letter on the spot to get it extended. She then flagged that it would be beneficial for me to see an ENT — and, as it turns out, she's the one who ultimately recommended the ENT referral I probably needed all along. She even followed up by phone after the referral to confirm I'd been able to get the prednisone extended. The continuity of care was truly exceptional. I walked in extremely anxious, thinking that I had just lost half my hearing, with no real idea if it was going to get worse or better, and I left with a very comprehensive understanding of the issues and very clear steps to take to remedy the situation. I cannot thank the staff here enough! If the day ever comes that I need hearing aids — hopefully still a few years off — this is without question where I'll be going.
