Psychiatric assessment, treatment and rehabilitation centre for adults and youth with serious and complex mental illnesses. Priority is to provide highly specialized assessment, intensive and longer-term treatment, rehabilitation, crisis, outreach and consultative services. Assessment and active treatment of patients aged 65 and over who are experiencing mental health problems. Services provided by a multidisciplinary team. All persons referred will be seen in consultation first and then, depending on assessment of needs, the program will provide a consultation only or admission to one of its services as clinically indicated.
How to access: Referrals must be made by a physician or a community psychiatrist * contact Intake Secretary for a list of long-term care facilities visited by outreach consultative team
