From my initial contact with sales staff over the phone right through installation of a stair chair lift, I've been very satisfied with my experience with HME. Responses were prompt and adjustments I requested were completed quickly and accurately. Emyll was both our assessor and installation technician and we're very happy with his service. He provided clear information and explanations about the operation of the lift and answered all our questions throughout the whole process. We'd recommend Emyll and HME to address any home accessibility needs.

My daughter suffered a fractured leg that left her with no mobility. We live upstairs in a two storey home. Our daughter was too heavy to be carried up the stairs prompting the installation of a stair lift. After much research, I settled on the Bruno Elan model that was a product sold and installed by HME who is an authorized dealer for Bruno ( important for post installation servicing). First call to HME was answered by Ayushi Sall who answered all my questions professionally and knowledgeably. A written quote was promptly sent. After requesting quotes from other authorized Bruno dealers ( none responded), HME sent Emyll to provide assessment. Emyll called ahead to provide an arrival time and he arrived as scheduled. Emyll provided a through assessment on the suitability of the Bruno Elan for our stair location. He was very respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. I indicated that I wanted him to do the install after a positive engagement with him. The installation took under 4 hours as our stairs were straight and totalled 14 stairs. Emyll cut the rail outside to minimize noise and spread of metal shavings. Very satisfied with the quality of the installation. Boxes were taken away. Training provided to ensure we understood how to operate the chair and awareness of safety features. I strongly endorse and recommend the use of HME to install Bruno stair lifts and especially Emyll as the installer.

Crew did not begin actual installation until a thorough in person consultation with community OT and hospital OT, plus sales team member, to ensure the stair lift is the safest it can possibly for the needs of the disabled person. I am very happy about the attention to detail and their time efficiency. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars was that in spite of a quick vacuuming, they did leave little metal shavings from cutting the rail on the stairs and basement, and black smudges from their shoes on the kitchen lino.
