We bought a Savaria wheelchair lift, brand new from a local dealer in 2020 and it has been nothing but headaches and non functioning, hassle....numerous times a year. The people who installd it seem to have little knowledge on how to service or fix any issues without calling customer support. Highly disappointed in paying so much for something my handicap child needs on a daily basis to move through all 3 levels of our home... and it doesn't work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Unexpected Charges & Poor Customer Support Review: We had a service call from Savaria Brampton for a home lift that stopped working. The mechanic replaced two blown fuses and performed basic troubleshooting. No parts were charged, and the lift returned to normal operation. Despite having an active annual maintenance contract, we were billed separately for this visit. When we questioned the charge, Savaria insisted it was not covered under the contract, even though the work performed was minimal and diagnostic in nature. Their communication was rigid, and they declined to reconsider the invoice. Because of this experience, we have confirmed that we will not be renewing our maintenance contract or using Savaria for future service. Posting this review so others are aware of potential unexpected charges and to encourage clearer communication around what is and isn’t included in their maintenance agreements. UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. To clarify, I did get reply from Emil Music who happens to be a Maintenance, Service & Modernization Manager at Savaria Corporation by email, and unfortunately the experience was not positive. His response was rigid and dismissive, and he insisted on payment for a very small amount despite the fact that we have been long‑standing clients since the original installation. Given our history with Savaria, a simple gesture of goodwill, such as waiving this minor charge, would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction reinforced our decision not to renew our maintenance contract or continue with Savaria for future service. My review was posted so that others are aware of how situations like this are handled, especially when loyal customers raise legitimate concerns.

Savaria is one of the worst companies ! I have called them to come to see why my elevators doesn't work during the winter days they said we need to oil it. They charged my credit card $775 but the work didn't even happen. :(
