  Alexis Lodge is an amazing place. They have treated my parents with dignity, compassion, respect, and kindness. Before coming to Alexis, my parents were treated very badly while living with my sister. My mother’s dementia declined drastically during that time, and she would even become scared when she heard her name mentioned. I am so happy and grateful that my parents found a place they can truly call home. They are both very happy there, and it gives our entire family peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with love and respect. My siblings and I are extremely grateful to Christiana Egi and her wonderful staff for everything they do for our parents. Whenever I visit, I speak with other residents’ families, and I have not met a single family who was unhappy with the care their loved ones receive. Thank you, Christiana, and the entire staff for giving my parents a safe, loving, and caring home. We will always be grateful for you. ❤️

  What can I say about Alexis Lodge. From the first time we met the Director, Christiana, I knew that Alexis Lodge was a special place. She is incredibly compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind and I knew that our dad would be taken great care of here. Alexis Lodge is a home with a small number of residents (most have dementia) which makes for an easier and more comfortable adjustment phase. The staff are friendly and loving to the residents and take a lot of time to make sure that they are supported and well cared for. We were so worried that our dad would never adjust to living outside of his home but within a few weeks, dad is happy and well adjusted. I highly recommend Alexis Lodge for your loved one.

  My father stayed at Alexis Lodge for almost 2 years. Alexis Lodge provided care for my him that was far beyond anything I expected and far exceeded the level of care provided at a well known Long Term Care facility that my father was later transferred to. The staff there were truly unique and showed a tremendous amount of patience and compassion for my father, who at times could not be dealt with in this manner by his own family. Members of my father’s immediate and extended family didn’t like how the place looked. I will say that the care by the staff at these facilities is of far greater importance than the way the facility looks. My father truly enjoyed his stay at Alexis Lodge, but wasn’t happy at the Long Term Care facility. If I had known this I would never have transferred my father. Alexis Lodge is truly a hidden gem!
