McCowan Retirement Residence has been a gift to our family. As hard as it was for my mother to leave her home and move into assisted living just one year ago, it has made all of our lives better. She is well cared for by the amazing staff. They go above and beyond to make my mom feel safe and welcome. It is a happy environment with daily activities and entertainment for their residents and families. So thankful we found McCowan Retirement Residence. Highly recommended.

An Excellent Educational Partner McCowan Retirement Residence provides an excellent learning environment for students, helping them enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional confidence. Through their practicum experience, students gain valuable hands-on training that prepares them to successfully enter their chosen fields, including Personal Support Worker, Food Service Worker, and Community Service and Addictions Worker. The management team is highly accommodating, supportive, and flexible in meeting students' learning needs. The staff work collaboratively to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters growth and development. Students benefit from meaningful learning opportunities, hands-on experience, and job shadowing throughout their placement. By the end of their practicum, they leave with enhanced skills, practical experience, and a warm sense of fulfillment.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's a really nice place for my uncle to enjoy the rest of his life and close enough for my elderly mom to visit him by bus or taxi. We appreciate all that they have done. Cost-wise it was the best of affordability and comfort to suit my uncle's and family's needs.
