  I Bob Pilley, phoned ahead of time to rent a four wheel Walker. When I picked it up, just before paying for it, the lady said to me that I would have to lift off the big metal basket before I could lift up the seat to fold it up. I told her that was not very convenient. I asked if there was another Walker to rent. She said this one was the only Walker they had left to rent. I said that I did not want this Walker and that there has to be another solution. I said that I was already a customer and that they had installed a seat to go down our stairs for us and this was the second time I rented a Walker. She went down the hallway and came back with a modern walker. I said that you had said there were no more walkers to rent. She said the one she brought for me would be too small for me. I sat in it and it fit perfectly. I paid for the walker and left the store feeling very uncomfortable.

  Had an outdoor porch lift installed this spring. From my initial call with Pete-sales to Don -installation, everything was top notch. They took the time to answer any questions I had and even made a suggestion for a power chair which I will need to get soon ,once I finish my research on various brands . The lift works great and saves my back trying to get my husband down the stairs to car. Thanks everyone !

  61 year old husband has Alzheimers, now requiring wheelchair, power lift in garage, wheeled commode, shower chair, toilet frame and rail to prevent falling down basement stairs. Sales rep Pete was to quote on everything and brought wheelchair over to fit husband in it for new one. Husband sat in wheelchair for over an hour. Pete left wheelchair as a courtesy to use. Wheelchair was put in closet and not used for 4 days. Upon retrieving wheelchair I noticed the smell of urine. I checked our clothes hamper which was empty. I brought wheelchair out and smelled the backrest, seat cushion and wheelchair seat. All stunk of urine. My husband is NOT incontinent so it wasn't his urine! This is from other people and I was disgusted since hubby sat in the chair (bacteria!) for over an hour. I took pics of the cushion and it had obvious pee stains/build up on it. Where are the sanitizing protocols? Pete came and picked up the chair and apologized. Received call from Service Manager following day with a half hearted apology, just going thru the motions. You would think the owner would have called, I guess they don't care. Perhaps Health Canada should be made aware of this situation!
