I have been a client at the VON office on Lansdowne Ave in Peterborough for the past 8 months. They have on every visit been polite, professional and kind. I had no problems making appointments and they were always prompt getting to me when I arrived . I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy every visit and the services they provided were done perfectly.

Very poor management skills for the assisted living program. The clients best interests are not met. Do better VON.

"If the dressing is stuck, soak with water or saline and wait for the dressing to loosen – allow a bit of time and avoid pulling as this will be painful and will damage the wound" If only this were followed, I might still be walking properly, instead I can't sleep again and my walking now is labored. It shocks me that patient comfort (I e. Pain level) is not a consideration. This isn't the world war, there's no need to rush people along and be so rough. To be fair it comes down to who you get, and it's a good thing we have community nurses at all but it is a place where some improvement/refreshers are clearly needed
