I moved here 3 months ago and am delighted! I was alone in a 4 bedroom house and while I had great neighbours and a beautiful garden, I spent far too much time alone. Here- I have made lots of new friends; there are activities galore; I have learned card games I never knew before and had fun making all kinds of crafts. I even found out that karaoke can be a lot of fun. There are exercise programs every day and a full gym and pool for when I feel extra energetic! In short - best thing I ever did was moving here AND I know that if I have health issues, they have my back 100%. OH - the food is great!

It was very difficult for us to convince my uncle to move from his house to a retirement home, as I am also not familiar with how senior care works. Thank you to the AMICA Newmarket team; you all are very supportive and caring.

Having alot of trouble with some staff while others go far beyond. There is no proper amount of parking for visitors. But local church parking is available. One must speak loud to be heard hear by management...but they do listen eventually. So 3 outta 5 stars...I guess I'd put my mom here...(food and some staff are top notch)
