This is one of the most horrible places I know,they smile like angel but treat the residents like trash,don’t send anyone you love to this place,my auntie went there 2 weeks ago now she is in funeral home,they don’t care if you are dead or alive.

This home, that is affiliated with the brethren church is not any different than a home without Christian roots. Unfortunately, they're understaffed, staff need to work at multiple places to survive, and staff that should go, are needed due to shortages. My loved one switched from another home, hoping it would be better, only to be disappointed. Food is horrible, portion size (i.e. for an adult is half a sandwich... no diabetic meal so it's half... so a quarter sandwich) is a joke , sandwiches are often given for dinner. Very little cultural food, or cultural food that is made with any flavour. So many complaints, this space is not big enough. There are about a handful of good staff, genuine and caring, but are exceeded by staff that do not maintain client dignity, making fun of residents, not learning the clients name, ignoring call bells or requests. Go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough about the care and love that my father received during his short stay at Bethany. The nurses, PSW and all staff were OUTSTANDING. They treated my father with. care and compassion and whenever I left I felt assured he was in loving care. Thank you to everyone for making his last days so peaceful and happy. Plus a special acknowledgement to Shawna and Heather for their kind words and love
