  I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They treat residents with respect and compassion, and it really shows in the way they interact with everyone. The home also does a wonderful job keeping residents engaged with a wide variety of activities, games, and seasonal festivities. There’s always something going on to keep spirits high and minds active, which I’m sure means so much to residents and families. Knowing my grandparents are in a supportive, welcoming environment warms my heart. We’re truly grateful for all the hard work and dedication of the entire Markhaven team.

  I visit my mother at Markhaven Home for Seniors from time to time, and I am always impressed by the care she receives. She has been a resident for about four years, and the staff are compassionate, attentive, and dedicated. Her room is always clean, and the environment is pleasant and welcoming something you don’t always see in other homes. I truly appreciate the exceptional care and support provided to the residents here.

  My mother was at Markhaven for about a year, overall we felt like she received good care. I don’t have very many good things to say about Doctor Curry, I felt like she was cold and unfeeling, she didn’t seem to care how she communicated with myself or my husband. Doctor Curry was unprofessional in leaving me a voicemail with important information about my mother’s health which should never have been left in a message, she then went on vacation for three weeks leaving us with having to digest that information with no communication for almost a month.It was very upsetting and unprofessional. Most of the nurses were lovely, I feel like they loved my mother which was so reassuring and wonderful to see I give the staff so much credit and gratitude Thank you! I did encounter one extremely rude head nurse when I came in to sign paperwork about my mother’s wheelchair, her break was interrupted and she wouldn’t shut up about it. Markhaven was a good place for my mother, she loved the nurses and so did we. Thank you ❤️
