Please don’t put your loved ones there. They sell the place to you like it’s the best place in the world. Far from it. They are consistently understaffed. I can’t remember a time when we called for assistance and someone actually came. Black mold in washing machines . Food is consistently served cold . Rooms are dirty despite them telling you it will be cleaned weekly. Was told if my Mom didn’t go to dining room for meals she would not be fed. We would be responsible for feeding her and bringing in our own food. Care plans are not followed. We as a family took turns to go there daily to ensure our loved one was toileted and fed and given fluids. Managers don’t advocate for their clients . They use agency staff a lot who are not familiar with the resident which makes it dangerous for residents that have more acute needs. Having our loved one there was extremely traumatizing. This place should be investigated.

As a Real Estate Agent, I have had clients recently move into Brightwater, and the process and the communication from the staff there was so refreshing! I deal with lots of seniors as they transition and this process to Brightwater was one of the best! They were patient, kind and responded quickly to my senior clients!

Bright Water Senior Residences of Tuxedo, what a wonderful modern facility that my family members (2) have been associated with since 2020. The Units, Staff and activities allowed both my loved ones a smooth transition from their individual independent lifestyles as they both required increasing assistance as their health failed. Both enjoyed especially the interaction with the facilities staff, I could see in their smiles that they were comfortable with the care they were receiving. The health care capabilities also thankfully kept both out of a hospital setting and in their new home, which was so important to everyone including myself as their family. Bright Water allowed us as family to live our lives as we knew they were in good hands. Something I learned is very important to keep the parent child relationship healthy. Can’t say enough about the staff other than seeing the tears flowing on my loved ones passing, they truly became part of our blood family. Love to all
