I was very grateful to find this website and a Care Provider to help address a family members needs. Not only did Care Possible help me understand the website, the support from Sania was outstanding. She was able to answer all my questions promptly. I also found a wonderful Care Provider named Folashade-lyabo whom assisted my family member with the care she needed. After a month of waiting for WRHA Home Care to interview the family member and get some support in place, I was ready to become a Self/Family Managed Care Coordinator. This website makes the paperwork easy should you take this direction. And the Care Providers are independent contractors so you don't have to worry about other responsibilities of hiring help, such as tax reporting, EI, workers compensation and such. Thank you Care Possible and Folashade-lyabo.

This is a good option for finding care giver supports. Getting started takes a bit of persistence. It would be helpful to have a bit more of an overview of what is coming before diving in. However, once the profile was set up, we received lots of qualified candidates and found someone who is a good fit for our family. The app is solid, a little more guidance around how to proceed from step to step would have made it smoother. Have been recommending to others.

Checking out the platform I realized that this platform does not ask for criminal records or any kind of adult, child checks. I am very disappointed with the wording being used in it. Care Possible States that it is "recommended" but is not required. This is the most dangerous thing to say on a platform that is hiring people and puts them in homes with vulnerabilities. Children, adults and seniors who are in need of help and are trusting someone in their homes with their life's and love ones. I am leaving this review in hopes that they will change their requirements and see how dangerous it is to not have proper background checks done on employees because for people who are looking for help are trusting that these checks are done.
