Chartwell has looked after my parents for several years. All the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is very good and they have lots of activities going on every day. Trips to the theater, garden center, to the lake, shopping, etc. My mom was quite sick before she passed away and prior to her going to hospital, Chartwell cared for her so well. Now my Dad, with dementia is doing well on his own in this familiar setting. It's a blessing to feel comfortable with the residence your parents are living in. Janet Cornelius

I would like to share my experience at Chartwell. My Mom and Dad have been at Chartwell for about 3 years. The staff have been amazing. If it weren't for the kindness and attentiveness of the staff we as a family would have struggled alot more. The staff were very kind to my mom. She passed away last October. They checked on her regularly and offered support. My mom felt cared for and supported. My Dad has done pretty well since my mom passed. The Chartwell team have stepped up to make sure my dad is cared for. They have porters take him to meals and someone check on him in the evening. When he chipped his tooth they were concerned and we as a family followed up to see the dentist. There are a couple of staff I would like to thank. Alicia in the cafeteria and Julianne in the cafeteria have been polite fun and tolerant of my father and excellent server s. Elaine and Ayan were exceptional. They help guide us through the process of caring for elderly parents. Ayan was very compassionate and a wonderful listener when mom was so sick. Karuna was an exceptional psw and many others. They always always say hello to my dad and are kind and polite. I can't express my appreciation enough for all Chartwell have done and are doing.

Chartwell Riverside is a dream come true for our family. Our parents have been living there for the past two months, and we couldn’t be more excited for their next stage of life. The residents, the staff, the families we are meeting…so many wonderful people. Our parents have come to life again now that they are at Chartwell Riverside. We cannot believe how many daily activities they can participate in, the food is extremely delicious, the staff are happy, kind, positive, and hardworking; I am so impressed with the management of this company. Our family is so happy to have found this beautiful place for our parents. Thank you Chartwell Riverside for making our parents feel loved, valued, and happy! Antoinette Grech
