My mother is currently a resident at Horizon Place since May 2023. The meals at this time were very filling, well cooked and enjoyable to eat. Now the food is overcooked, too spicy and not enough or the same food (veg) served 3 to 4 times a week. The quality has gone down terribly. She is leaving the table dissatisfied. She is very self sufficient and needs very little care. She enjoys living here, but the quality of the food needs to change. She has spoken to staff along with many other residents. Nothing has been improved.

I was so very impressed with Mrs Mary frances, Retirement Consultant, who was kind enough to show me around Horizon Place....so very bright, inviting, clean, with a homey feel...the room we sat in was a Studio which was very spacious, looking out to trees from the bay window...I was taken back at some of the residence I saw, all smiling and happy...all the areas, were awesome and most of all on one level which again gives you the feeling of walking into your home....I am seriously thinking of coming here when I am ready...I would highly recommend coming to see and possibly become a resident...again thank you Maryfrances, it was a joy speaking with you....blessing to all
