The Chartwell team, especially Katie Jager, were extremely welcoming, thorough and professional. From the original inquiry to the day my mother-in-law left from her respite care. On behalf of my mother-in-law: on April 8th, 2026 I had surgery to replace my knee. My search for Respite care brought me to Chartwell Wellington Park Retirement Residence. I'm so glad it did. I've been here for two months. The options here meet my needs. I have made friends among other residents and my children and grandchildren love visiting me here and staying for meals. I live in Wiarton and had my surgery in Owen Sound. This week I'll be going home knowing that I've had excellent care in all areas. Sincerely, Susan Sheehan

I am an entertainer and I visit Wellington Park once a month to entertain the residents (have been doing so for three years now). I have been entertaining seniors for over thirty years and can say in all honesty that Wellington Park ranks high in my eyes for their empathy and care of their residents. A lovely bright, clean facility with a very welcoming atmosphere. Had my parents still been with me I would not hesitate to let them experience Wellington Park for themselves. Kudos to you!

I had a beautiful experience offering a sound bath with my business, Body Of Sound - at Chartwell Wellington Park. The residents were curious and engaged, and it was clear they really enjoyed participating. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere that made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. I am really looking forward to the next one!
