  Went to an ALL Day health seminar for $20 a ticket. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Companies they deal with had tables to give out info and useful samples. Lunch was well done and very tasty. Staff was very helpful. The seminar was on healthy living. Well done! Great Day!.

  Elim has nice buildings and friendly staff The care providers are efficient, cleaning staff are nice and efficient, activity aides are amazing HOWEVER - if you are considering a move to Elim, a huge negative is the subpar food. It is mostly processed and of low quality & poorly cooked about 75% of the time. They have a large company that provides the food. Although you can ask for substitutions, those substitutions aren’t overly good either. I would make soups and meals for my parent’s freezer for those times the meals were inedible. Tough “steaks” sauces that hide processed foods, “salads” consisting of lettuce only - if food isn’t a big issue for you and you aren’t used to eating healthy - then this is a lovely place for a retired person to live.
