My good friend Alan's stay at Elginwood was no less than wonderful. On every level I can't say enough about the care and support Alan received. From the kitchen staff, Alan loved the food, especially the cookies and chocolate milk in the afternoon. The day to day care, he was given the best treatment, clean shaven, hair cuts, his room was clean, bed was made each day and sheets washed daily. Alan was a quiet man who found peace in his privacy, this was respected, that said, he loved the relationships he made with all who helped him each day. Thanks to the physio group who did their best and ensured he had all the equipment to make him comfortable. Special thanks to Huda, a beam of light and a caring leader from what I saw every time I visited Alan. Thank you for executing your job with skill, ability and class! To Mirette, thank you for your care and guidance along the way. Thank you to Rymma for all your support and help with all the details, you are kind, prompt and clearly great at what you do! Honestly Its pretty nice but the nurses genuinely confuse me and gave an oxygen tank to someone that had like a broken meter or Smth they kept a family member basically cooped up in her room but it's not the worst

This review is based on the parking only. How do you have 19 visitor spots that the staff fill up...??? Their parking is in the back yet they take up space for families and visitors. I have yet to ever get a parking spot at this home. When you choose a home I advise also checking the parking situation because if you can't visit your loved one what is the point. The streets around here are marked no parking so I dont know where you are supposed to go....its a joke.
