Staff Evani is constantly doing independent lifts which is ILLEGAL. Staff and purposely neglecting duties, a lady who works there is always wearing a name tag from another home. 99% of the time is pass the buck with no answers. Management always claims cameras don’t work to families her threaten their staff with them. I witnessed an employee bet bullied by staff. When reported nothing came of it and that staff was let go. This place is a walking human rights violation!

Poor communication, between Physio staff to the head nurse and PSW's regarding a residents care plan, With this the resident does not receive the physio which was promised to family. Cameras do not work, So if there is an incident they can not see what happened, Other than this it is bright clean place . good size rooms and good meals . Two PSW's looking after mom, do show compassion, empathy and care . I feel communication is key in residents care plan between all staff. and residents family. Dr. Carter is caring and has excellent people skills , He does listen to concerns .works well with family. Mom walked on going into this home , Physio confirmed they would keep her walking by having PSW's walk her to and from meals , This has Not happened . The only time she walks is when We the powers of Attorney say hey mom lets go for a walk. We encourage to keep her mobile . They do NOT. ( This was discussed at a Care Conference meeting..) very disappointed . May have to take this further. PSW staff lack proper training for vascular dementia ( slower progression. ( poor communication skills, to find out the Underlying cause of the aggression if any ex. did they try to stand to go to washroom?, Are they in Pain, Are they afraid ? ( talk to them). Do they have a infection ex. Urinary tract infection. Blood test, Urine sample . Instead they dope them up, > convince, for staff, Temp. solution. .. I have been there several times , They tell mom to go to washroom in her brief, they will change her later ( Mom is prone to urinary track infections , She has stated she doesn't want to mess her pants . She has been here since February 2025 to June 1, 2025 and has gone down fast. two fractures so far. falling a foot from bed onto a rubber mat. Hospital said no Osteoporosis and questioning how this actually happened . Wallet was stolen from walker at meal time it was at the desk, We were told camera wasn't working. I was a PSW for 17 years in long Term Care setting looking after Dementia and Alzheimer residents mainly , I am aware what proper care , Proper lifting, transferring consist of .we are hoping to transfer her out of here soon. NOTE: We have reached out to management, who were very good at covering up why mom broke her femur falling out of a high low bed , one foot from the floor. Surgeon at hospital stated it is impossible to break the largest bone in the body , falling a foot from bed in two places , ( she showed No signs of osteoporosis surgeon said. And told us she would have had to have fallen from a Hight such as a Hoyer lift. and the impact would cause it. ( Yes she was on a Hoyer lift at the time it happened .) Now she is afraid to even attempt to walk. I do have pictures of various injuries she has received since being here since February 2025. trying to get her out shall sign papers January . they must reply with the same response to everyone , The higher ratings must be from families that never or rarely go to see the parent or from a different wing

My grandmother spent the last year of her life here and when she recently passed, the staff couldn’t have been kinder and more sympathetic. In particular, Brooklyn and Jennifer (night shift) were incredibly kind and expressed their grief and condolences outwardly. Crystal (day shift) even visited, then came to the funeral the following week. Tina is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and is exactly the kind of person anyone would want to have in charge. The send-off for my grandmother was very touching and I am so impressed with the humanity of the people who work here. If only everyone in the world could think of others like these workers do, it would be a kinder and more loving place. Thank you for taking excellent care of my grandmother!
