As a family member, I felt this long-term care home was much better before 2026. (5 stars for the previous years) The previous leadership team was caring, approachable, and made families and staff feel heard. Unfortunately, with the new leadership, it does not feel the same, and concerns/questions no longer seem to be handled with the same care or responsiveness.

My Mom is a patient at Halton Extendicare in the Glen Williams wing. She is 97 years old and has dementia. She just had her first year review in April 2025 and is doing amazingly well for her age. I have found the Glen Williams staff very professional, communicative and caring. Anytime there is an issue, I'm phoned immediately. The nursing home itself has a warm home feeling to it, which I would doubt would exist in the newer larger facilities. Please keep on the Good work ! She thinks the food is Great !

My mother has been at Halton Hills Extendicare for a little over a month now. The staff is amazing, friendly, and caring. Each person I have dealt with seems to care about my mother and have helped me navigate through this difficult time. They take the time to listen and improve when necessary. Great job to all the staff.
