Falls and Frailty Clinic
The Clinic supports seniors at high risk of injury due to a fall. Assessments include interviews, questionnaires, standardized fall risk and frailty testing, physical examinations and cognitive screening, when appropriate. Conditions treated:. Community based patients aged 65 year or over with a history of one or more falls of uncertain origin in the past year those with a history of frequent near-falls or instability requiring assessment or identification of fall risk(s) additional clinical signs of frailty; slower gait speed, weight loss, fatigue, weakness, sedentary life with/without cognitive impairment.
