On November 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., we said goodbye to our beloved husband. My daughters and I are so grateful for this beautiful home, the kindness of the staff, and the gentleness of each and every one of them. We are deeply thankful. What a wonderful place to spend his final days! We will always be grateful for the kindness and care we received.

We experienced my grandmother's passing in this beautiful, spacious home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for all the care provided with such kindness and compassion by all the staff. My grandmother became very attached to the team. We never felt judged or rushed. The team quickly understood our family dynamic, as we are a large group. As a nursing student myself, I can say that you are wonderful at your work, and I will certainly take note! ❤️🕊️

Fondation René-Verrier operates a network of palliative care organizations in Drummondville, Quebec. The Maison René-Verrier provides free inpatient palliative care in 10 private rooms for patients with a life expectancy of three months or less.
The network comprises four affiliated organizations: the Maison René-Verrier (inpatient facility), Services René-Verrier (home care), Havre d'Elizabeth (day centre), and the Foundation itself (fundraising body).
The Maison, built in 2014, offers free palliative and end-of-life care in a peaceful setting overlooking the Saint-François river.
All services are offered free of charge, funded by the Foundation through community donations. Care includes 24/7 medical and nursing support, psychosocial accompaniment, home-prepared meals, personal hygiene care, and support for families before, during, and after death.
Medical assistance in dying (AMM) is available to current residents.
