  Our family needed some emergency home care for a loved one who became ill and could not live alone. I contacted Home Care Assistance and spoke to their representative, Siera, who was extremely helpful and seamlessly arranged for a one week, live-in caregiver to take this assignment. The caregiver, Paula, was extremely helpful, kind and provided complete care for our loved one. Paula went above and beyond her required duties and worked with the food supplies that were left for in a very efficient manner. Thank you to Domenic, Siera and Paula for helping us in our time of need. I would highly recommend Home Care Assistance for anyone who finds themselves in this type of situation.

  I had a very good experience during my orientation with Jennifer at Barrie Home Care Assistance company today. She was very informative and friendly during the orientation. I felt very comfortable during and felt very welcome during our time today.

  I wish I could give 10 stars...or 100! Connecting with Home Care Assistance Barrie has been like receiving a lifeline on the tossing of waves in the middle of the ocean. My husband has dementia and has been on a more rapid decline trajectory in the last year. It's been very challenging, to say the least. We approached the diagnosis 6 years ago with ambition and drive to bring as much holistic protocols into play as was possible for us, and we managed to slow things down considerably...until this past year and especially the past 6 months. Starting with an incredible, in-home introductory meet up with Dominique and Deborah (the founders and operators) which was a beautiful time of connection so filled with grace, compassion, honour and professionalism. I felt like we were almost adopted into their family of care. The level of detail about what would best suit our needs, the attention to my husband's likes and dislikes and quirks, the understanding we were met with when something didn't seem to be working...it's all been so far above the rail and I believe they've set a bar that can't be matched honestly. We have 2 PSW's that are absolute angels, and my heart is bursting with gratitude every day because we found Home Care Barrie. Siera is simply extraordinary in every way, going above and beyond to ensure we are cared for, (and when I say above and beyond...I mean WAY above and beyond) and I feel like the team care as much for me and what I need as my hubby. I have felt lost and alone in the past, even though we have a large family, because this journey as a spouse is like no other. Scary, hopeless, solitary and so exhausting. But, since Home Care Barrie has come into our lives, I no longer feel alone, or scared, or exhausted. My mind is clear, I have time to pursue growing my businesses without worrying about my husband, our PSW's (who feel more like loving sisters) Gail & Shirley, are simply other worldly in their care for us and I could probably write a book about the depths of gratitude and blessing I now feel every day due to this company, their staff /team and the girls.
