Home instead came in to care for my dad. I was very pleased with the care. Especially my dads final PSW, Sylvie Poulin, she went above and beyond! My dad really trusted her and that says a lot!

We used Home Instead to provide personal home care for our parents for a while. The office staff and owners were unpleasant and difficult to deal with. We certainly felt just like a number. No real empathy or concern given in regards to my parents' needs... and yet, the caregivers were great. We would not have stayed with them as long as we did if it weren't for the caregivers, although, unfortunately there seemed to be a lot of turn over. For all of the caregivers' hard work and care they gave, in my opinion, they definitely were not paid well enough. I would rate higher for the caregivers but this review is about how this specific Home Instead is run in Sudbury and how disappointed we are in how the admin. had dealt with us.

Very disappointed in Home Instead. Our family used their services for many years and it was a constant struggle re. scheduling, sensitivity to Alzheimer needs, new staff unprepared, high staff turn around to name a few; not even a condolence card or phone call on our parent's passing. The only reason we stayed with Home Instead is that they have some amazing caregivers who need to be treated and paid better by the owner. Thank you immensely to the caregivers!
