My mom chose Home Instead as her private care provider back in 2025 when she was diagnosed with ALS. It was the best choice and decision she could have made. Mandi consistently provided compassionate care and was exceptionally skilled at pairing the appropriate caregivers for my moms needs and personality. The caregivers themselves (Jenny and Mina) were kind, compassionate, detail oriented and thorough. They consistently used their critical thinking skills to solve problems as they arose (and as my moms abilities declined) and went above and beyond the tasks they needed to do. The team responded to any concerns with compassion, validation and most importantly they took action in a timely manner. I have so much gratitude for the Home Instead team. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We would give Home Instead- POCO 10 Stars if we could! They have been caring, compassionate and professional throughout our journey with our parents. First with our dad & mom at home, through to dad’s hospital stay, his passing and then mum’s hospital stay, home stay and even willing to assist now that she has been moved to a Long-term care home. Katie & Mandi have been fantastic on the management/booking front and we can’t say enough about the staff Gloria, Kerry and more recently Ana - they are all flexible & caring. Truly in the right profession-our heartfelt thanks to each of you. We felt our parents were loved by Home Instead when we couldn’t be there.

I've been really happy to have someone else to help with my 101 year old friend. She had been very independent until the last few months, and I did not know what to do with her new hearing, paranoia, dementia and related issues. Home Instead answered my call professionally, and got in touch about what my friend needed and started helping within days. They have been responsible, prompt and caring and did what they said they would do. My life has become so much easier just knowing that if I want a couple of days away, I have someone to help. Fraser Health has been helping, but their scheduling and red tape have been so frustrating. Their inability to add additional duties in a timely manner and without several phone calls and leaving messages and waiting, waiting, waiting. Home Instead has been reliable and efficient and I suggest anyone needing this type of help with a loved one or friend, should give them a call to keep their own sanity.
