  My name is Mrs. Khan. When I was diagnosed with a very critical illness at the hospital in Mississauga, it was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for my family and me. We did not know what type of care or support was available, and everything felt overwhelming. During my time in the hospital, I had the privilege of meeting Arati Nair, who kindly introduced me to the wonderful support and services offered through Hospice Mississauga and the Dorothy Ley Hospice program. After learning more, my son helped register me for the program, and from that moment, my life began to change for the better. Step by step, I received the care and support I truly needed. I was introduced to Dr. Mavrogiannis and his dedicated team. As my home care doctor through Hospice Mississauga and Dorothy Ley Hospice, Dr. Mavrogiannis has been incredibly caring and compassionate, regularly visiting me at home, listening to feedback from the nurses, and ensuring that I receive the best care possible. The nurses come to see me several times a day, checking my blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar, heart, and overall well-being. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication have made such a meaningful difference in my life. At one point during this illness, I truly felt like it was the end of the world for me. But through God’s blessings and the incredible support of these caring people, I realized that I was not alone. The staff, PSWs, nurses, and doctors have treated me with kindness, dignity, compassion, and genuine care. They made me feel safe, supported, and comfortable during one of the most difficult times of my life. Hospice Mississauga and Dorothy Ley Hospice have become deeply important to me, and I am forever grateful for all the care and support I have received. I would especially like to thank Arati Nair, Dr. Mavrogiannis, and the entire team for caring for me from the bottom of their hearts. Thank you so much to everyone at Hospice Mississauga and Dorothy Ley Hospice for everything you have done for me. I will always be grateful.

  It’s the best place and best persons that serves very well for the grief , I took complimentary services , it was so good and relaxed .Wish I could have an extra complimentary sessions and took one to online session for grief , it went very well n helped so much for me , Very thankful for the services it’s mean a lot to me 😍Lots of love from me 🫶🏻

  I wanted to say thank you to Karen from Hospice Mississauga. She helped me cope and deal with my grief of the loss of my wife. She handled my sessions with professionalism and care that I truly appreciate given the circumstances. Thank you again Karen.
