  We used Integracare for a short period as a relative recovered from a brain injury. Right from intake I was impressed. I was frustrated with a previous company after frequent changes to PSWs or no-shows. We needed an urgent change and Stephanie went out of her way to schedule and intake meeting on a weekend to ensure someone was in place by that Monday. Our support needs for both me as the primary care person who works full time and for my loved one were met. The most important need was consistency of one person, and a PSW that was attentive to prevent further falls. Our PSW Tenzin was all of this and more. He developed a positive relationship with a resistant patient, he sent me updates to relieve my mind while away at work, and he was always there to protect the patient when he felt faint. When there were questions or concerns, the company actively problem solved with Care Manager Niccola. Nicco was an amazing communicator. Our entire experience I felt like each person cared not only for the well-being of the patient, but also for me who was struggling to care for my loved one and balance work demands. I came home always to a tidy kitchen, the meals were prepped and given, and my loved one was calm and in good spirits. In the future if I need care, this is the only place I am going! Thank you to the entire team and especially to Tenzin for all that you did to help us during a very difficult time.

  I needed nursing care to change a dressing after surgery so I could avoid going to the ER. Both the person (I’m sorry, can’t recall her name) I spoke to on the phone and the lovely nurse, Bethel that looked after me treated me with professionalism and compassion. Bethel is definitely in the right field as her high level of care, competence and compassion shine through! I would not hesitate to recommend Integracare!

  I have worked for INTEGRAcare as a PSW for just over two years, and have had tremendous support from the care coordinators, and staff. Recently one of our clients required last minute overnight care, the following is a message I sent to a care coordinator. “ C, I just wanted to say that I’m pretty sure that pulling an overnight shift is not in your contract, however, I completely understand your commitment and dedication to a client like Mrs. M. She is one special lady, in many ways! That compassion is exactly why you are so valued at INTEGRAcare and I, for one, am very glad you are my care-coordinator. Please let me know how Mrs. M is doing when you can!” From the initial orientation and mentorship program INTEGRAcare offers its new hires, to the regular feedback and training available to all the care providers, not only is INTEGRAcare a great place to work, but provides high quality, dedicated and individual care to all its clients. I am proud to say I work for them and have recommended their services to a number of family and friends.
