ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONES After trying to access help at home for an elderly, sick & frail family member for months, I have come to the conclusion that dealing with these community health care people is a complete waste of time. I have never come across a bigger group of disorganized people who spend more time losing paperwork or taking time off or making empty promises or passing the work off onto others (who then do nothing as well). They are either never available or their suggestions are comical & unrealistic, or their services are completely unhelpful and useless. A different person every time I call and actually get someone but rarely does anyone answer. If you could see the log book I have kept of voicemails Ive made to them that were never returned, face to face appointments scheduled where they never showed up, or details of what they wanted to do that never came to fruition or were clueless, you would be shocked. A completely useless organization filled with lazy & uninterested & uncaring people—a total embarrassment in Kamloops. God help us all when our time comes and we need healthcare help at home.
