It is with pleasure that I tell you about my recent move to L’Image d’Outremont, part of the Maurice Group. From the outset, I was pleasantly surprised by my phone conversation with the leasing consultant, Gersende, who was genuinely interested in learning about my criteria for the apartment I was looking for. During my first visit, she suggested three possible locations. The first apartment I visited met all my requirements and, in addition, offered an interior balcony (only the front of the balcony is open) so I could create an outdoor garden. During the visit, the consultant introduced me to the head of food services, Kamel, so he could answer all my questions. One of my concerns, given that I am a widower and don't cook for myself, was whether, when beef was on the menu, we could have it cooked to our liking. He assured me that we could. However, there are some beef dishes that he cannot serve rare, apparently due to a policy. Most of the meals I've eaten so far have been very satisfying. The soups, sauces, and dressings are among the best I've had in restaurants. The table service is also very good. On my second visit to sign my lease, I met the head of leasing, Noémi, who gave me a very warm welcome and immediately made me feel at home. She took all the time necessary to explain the possibilities the residence offered and all the rules that Groupe Maurice requires of its tenants, and she did so with great humor. I went home full of hope. Since my arrival, I've met with her a few times, always with the same enthusiasm and satisfaction from a job well done. She introduced me to the new manager, who seems very empathetic towards his staff and residents.

I am very disappointed with this residence. The overall operation is chaotic, and there is a serious lack of organization and consideration for the residents. There are constant changes in the director of care, which creates significant instability and directly impacts the quality of services. The current director, Lorie, clearly lacks empathy and a human touch. She seems distant, uninvolved, and out of touch. Residents are not experiencing any tangible improvements under her management. The care system is poorly managed, many problematic situations are ignored, and the overall atmosphere of the residence suffers greatly as a result. This explains why there are fewer and fewer residents: the residence simply does not meet expectations. This residence needs serious change, both in terms of management and the human approach to residents.
